Hello! So its been awhile since I did my last blog, been a little busy. However, I have a bunch to blog about now! I took a mini vacay back to Alberta to visit my parents farm and turn off the outside world for a boost and re-focus. My wonderful mom is a Pampered Chef consultant, so when I come home she has numerous new kitchen toys to try out. Which of course, I love to do. My amazing family became my test subjects as I tried a few new recipes on them. And they all were a hit! Especially the tequila lime tart. Hold tight, I will load this blog with scrumptious items soon!

Having moved from the land of cold (Edmonton) one thing I do miss is Duchess Bakery. http://duchessbakeshop.com/ This amazing bakery in the Westmount village not far from my old house was a weekend fave by my bestie and me. French-inspired baked treats and delicious coffees as well made this place a swoon worthy favorite. Which, ultimately inspired me to make chocolate meringues one evening at home. Now I stumbled upon a recipe for lavender cream meringues (think macaroon meets more meringue). I'll post my attempt later. However, if you are eager to try some Duchess baked treats yourself, here are some recipes revealed by CBC. duchess bakeshop recipes Enjoy!
